Christopher To

Christopher To is the Secretary-General of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. He also serves as the Secretary-General of the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre. He is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Internet Forum and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Committee. Mr. To has been elected to serve on the Nomination Committee of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (‘ICANN’).

Mr. To was named as one of the Young Global Leaders for 2007 by the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Mr. To lectures at local and overseas universities in corporate governance, business, engineering and law. He has been an advisor to Shantou University in China and is a Member of the Council of the Distinguished Advisors of the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pedderdine University School of Law in the U.S.A.

Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (‘HKIAC’) was established by a group of the leading business and professional people in Hong Kong to be the focus for Asia of dispute resolution in 1985. It has been generously funded by the business community and by the Hong Kong Government but it is totally independent of both and it is financially self sufficient.
